In a Short promoting VoicePal, Ali says that running a team of 20 left him little time to write, that a ghostwriter would have cost about $5,000 a month, and that a software-developer friend instead built the app with him; the channel later says it is now on the Play Store too.

  • ★★ Because he runs a team of 20 people and makes videos, Ali often feels he has little time for writing; speaking ideas aloud on podcasts gives him good ideas, but typing them out at a blank screen does not suit him. — 00:00:00

00:00:29 — VoicePal, a ghostwriter in your pocket, built instead of hiring one

  • ★★ A software-developer friend told Ali he did not need a ghostwriter and proposed building an app that does the job instead: VoicePal, which listens, asks follow-up questions and turns what you say into a first draft that sounds like you. — 00:00:29
