00:00:00 — Bank holiday Monday and a faculty member's email

  • ★ On a bank holiday Monday Ali reads out an email from a senior faculty member who calls bank holidays free bonus days, and says its personal touch in an admin-heavy email brought extra sunshine to his day. — 00:00:00

00:01:01 — Returning the drone: Cambridge is a no-fly zone; a visit to college

  • ★★ Ali bought a DJI Mavic Pro drone a few days earlier to get aerial shots of Cambridge for his vlog, planning also to film the colleges in 4K and sell the footage on a stock video website. — 00:01:01 · DJI Mavic Pro, Cambridge
  • ★★ Ali's friend Callum found that most of Cambridge is a no-fly zone: it lies in the direct landing path of Cambridge airport, so drones need permission from air traffic control. — 00:01:01 · Cambridge, Callum
  • ★★ Ali returns the DJI Mavic Pro drone to John Lewis in Cambridge town centre and praises the shop's customer service. — 00:01:50 · John Lewis, DJI Mavic Pro, Cambridge

00:02:58 — A piano and a plan to learn sight-reading

  • ★★ Ali wants to teach himself piano sight-reading during the 2017–18 year by practising five minutes a day, though he says it probably won't happen. (hedged) — 00:02:58

00:04:01 — Driving to the King's Lynn placement and finding the right door

  • ★★★ To end the bank holiday weekend, Ali and his fellow students drive to their placement in King's Lynn for the first time. — 00:04:01 · King's Lynn
  • ★★ The King's Lynn placement accommodation is basically in the hospital, which Ali says is in the middle of nowhere, with the nearest thing about a 20-minute walk away. — 00:05:11 · King's Lynn

00:06:06 — The accommodation, the kitchen and sign-off

  • ★★ Ali finds his King's Lynn placement room pretty great, with desk, wardrobe, chest of drawers, chair, sink, mirror and bed, and the kitchen reasonable for communal work. — 00:06:06 · King's Lynn
